NESTLED on the west coast of beautiful sunny Rarotonga is Sunset Palms just the place to stay for your Cook Islands holiday.
You have a choice of 2 units, the 1 bedroomed Beachfront Bungalow, or the Beachfront Studio.
Both face the Pacific Ocean and offer magnificent sunset views from anywhere inside. Both are tiled, plastered and have a stylish island look and feel about them.
They offer an atmosphere of absolute privacy to unwind. The kitchenette positioned by the back door ensures a nice cool breeze. The bar area separates the kitchen and the lounge and is also used for inside dining, but the decking is also a great dining option. The lounge area faces the entertainment unit and also has a perfect view of the lagoon. The Bungalows bedroom contains a Split-King bed which can spilt into 2 singles, while the Studio contains a Queen Bed. Both sleeping areas open out onto private decking that is partly covered and partly uncovered, perfect for tanning. The decking is built among boulders, palm trees and greenery and there is a short wooden walkway that leads onto the white sandy beach.
On the white sandy beach guests can relax on the sun loungers or grab a book and head for the hammock. Swimming, snorkelling and lagoon walking can be readily enjoyed, and taking a 30-minute stroll both ways along the beach should help the unwinding process.
Within five to 10 minutes walk, guests will find local shops, local art studios, SDA, CICC and Catholic Churches, local school, sport centre, DVD store and local vegetable stall. Within 10-20 minutes walk guests will find the only cultural centre on the island, takeaway and internet café and Kavera Beach where water activities are readily available and within 20-30 minutes Arorangi's finest selection of restaurants and eating out spots.
The local bus stop is at the entrance to Sunset Palms for everyday convenience
